Beautiful, blue-eyed, sweet, soft-as-a-cloud, affectionate, and loving bonded sisters

Iris (right) and Lilly – Adult Females: June 2024

Meet Iris and Lilly, a bonded pair of gorgeous Ragdoll sisters searching for their loving forever home!

These captivating felines boast softest, silky fur, making them cuddle champions.

Here’s a glimpse into their purr-sonalities:

  • Playful Pair: Iris, the frisky sister, loves playtime and cozy lap snuggles. Lilly, the mellow one, enjoys a good cuddle session too.
  • Chatterboxes: Once they settle in and find their voice they grace you with heartwarming chip/purr conversations.
  • Birdwatchers Extraordinaire: Windowsill perching is a favorite pastime, especially when there are feathered friends to observe.
  • Smart and Trainable: These intelligent kitties respond well to training. Their current family has been very successful in using
“horse (cat) whispering” techniques such as press/release & body language to develop a strong bond and a feeling of safety for these great girls. Could they look any more relaxed in these photos?!

Ideal Adoptive Home: These indoor-only princesses are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. We believe they were about four years old when they came to The Feline Connection in early 2024. We haven’t seen them with dogs, children, or other cats, but we suspect that a family with children is not a good fit. Only suitable for indoor cats. A calm and loving environment where they can blossom at their own pace would be perfect for them.

Their fur is soft silky like Persian cat fur and different then what I have ever been exposed to. They are shy in the beginning, especially after being re-homed. They love to nap, play with their human on the floor, talk to you eventually, sleep at your feet and look out the windows at the bird feeders. They are VERY coachable and smart !

Why They Need to Be Rehomed: Their previous adopters, heartbroken due to allergies, are unable to keep them. These gentle souls crave a permanent place to call home where they’ll be showered with love and affection. They came to us originally in March through an advocate who found them online and was concerned for their future.

They wait for me to go to bed and they come in and would sleep at my head but I moved them to my feet and they stayed there.

Current Foster Family
Iris

Iris is frisky and playful, and loves nothing more than to curl up with her sister or on your lap!

Lilly

Lilly is more independent but is always in the same room with her sister. They might nap together or separately. They always want to know where the other is.

Basics
  • Medical: These sisters are about four years old, spayed, microchipped, and have age-appropriate vaccines. They tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Lilly has light allergies.
  • Brushing: They are very clean and both like a little soft brushing. Regular brushing is needed to help them manage their coats.
  • Eating: They are small but they are eaters.
  • Litterbox: Both are good litterbox users
  • Claws: They have a piece of outdoor carpet that they use for their claws. They also allow their claws to be trimmed.
  • Bringing them Home: Like most cats, expect these gals to take time to get settled in.

Are you already in love with these Ragdoll Beauties like we are?
