Stunning Amber Eyes, Soft Fur, and a Heart of Gold

Hyperfreeze – Male Kitten: February 5, 2025

This little dude’s origin story reads like a Dickens novel with more fluff and fewer orphans asking for gruel. Picture this: a bitterly cold December evening (12/23/2024, to be precise), temperatures plummeting faster than a cat chasing a laser pointer. Our Hyperfreeze, along with his brother Crumby and sister Berry Backlash, were huddled in a crawlspace beneath a porch on the frozen ground. Their mama, a friendly feline named Frazzle, had done her best to find shelter.

Enter kind souls from a nearby convenience store, who, bless their hearts, had been feeding the family for a few days–since they arrived in the neighborhood. Realizing that even the bravest kitten couldn’t weather such arctic conditions, they reached out for help. And thus, our trio of tiny terrors were whisked away from their frosty abode and into the warm embrace of a Foster Family. They were understandably scared, these little fluffballs, having faced the harsh realities of winter before they’d even learned to “knead dough” properly.

But fear not, dear reader! This story has a happy ending. All three kittens, including the initially shy Hyperfreeze, have blossomed into playful and affectionate companions. While Crumby and Berry Backlash more quickly embraced the comforts of a warm home, Hyperfreeze took a more cautious approach. This sweet boy is still a bit of a wallflower, preferring to observe before leaping into action (or batting at a dangling toy). But once he trusts you, oh boy, is he a sweetheart! He’ll purr like a tiny motorboat as you stroke his soft fur, those amber eyes gazing up at you with pure, unadulterated affection.

Berry Backlash and Hyperfreeze: early February 2025

Hyperfreeze is nearly identical to his brother Crumby, making them quite the dynamic duo. You might need a scorecard to tell them apart, thankfully, their personalities are as different as night and day. Crumby is, after all, a TV Star now that he is in the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. Hyperfreeze has a great sense of humor and is always engaged when there is mischief afoot. He is happy to let Crumby lead the pack. He’s a great companion for anyone seeking a gentle and loving friend, someone who appreciates the simple joys of a warm lap and a good head scratch. So, if you’re looking for a kitten who’s been through it all and came out the other side a purrfectly wonderful companion, look no further than Hyperfreeze!

  • Health: Neutered, microchipped, and given age-appropriate vaccines.
  • Coat: Very soft Domestic Short Hair grey tabby, very pretty amber eyes
  • Family: He would love to be adopted with his sister, brother, or mom. We always recommend that kittens be adopted in pairs. They teach each other good manners, keep each other company, and bonus, they are entertaining!
  • Name: Hyperfreeze and his family are named after drinks available at the convenience store!

To help Hyperfreeze blossom into his full potential, ideally, he would go to a family with another kitten or young cat, like his friendly mama Frazzle, to aid in socialization and prevent boredom. His equally charming siblings, Crumby and Berry Backlash, would make excellent companions as well!
