Taboo: An Independent Daddy’s Girl Lap Cat Seeking Her Forever Home
Meet Taboo! This playful black cat, like the game she’s named after, is full of surprises! Estimated to be born around January 18th, 2023, Taboo is a young adult (around 1 year old) Domestic Shorthair with a strong personality. We don’t need to tell you how pretty she is!
Taboo’s Purrsonality:
- Lap cat who loves pets! Sweet and friendly girl
- Affectionate on her terms: Taboo loves attention through petting, ear scratches, and snuggles on the couch – but only for as long as she decides. When she’s had enough, she’ll let you know.
- Daddy’s Girl: While Taboo initially bonded strongly with my husband, she’s slowly warming up to others too. Be patient and let her come around at her own pace!
- Independent and easily stimulated: Taboo thrives in a calm and quiet environment. She enjoys playtime with toys like laser pointers, but gets overwhelmed easily. Respecting her need for downtime is key to building trust.
- Single cat household preferred: Taboo is slowly being introduced to other cats, but the process is slow. For her comfort, a home without other pets is ideal.
- Communicates clearly: Taboo may not meow much, but she’ll use gentle love nips, body language, and playful swats to express her needs and wants. Pay attention to her cues for a harmonious relationship.
